Edouard Cukierman is the founder and CEO of Catalyst Funds and Chairman of Cukierman & Co Investment House Ltd. Edouard Cukierman serves as Chairman of BOS (NASDAQ: BOSC), as Chairman of the Board of Summit Radio Corp. in New Jersey, and is a Board member of Lamina Technologies in Switzerland. Mr. Cukierman was the President and CEO of the Astra Fund, the first Israeli company to go Public in Continental Europe and was also the President of the Supervisory Board of
Citec Environment SA and Services inParis. He was a Board member of Orex, MTI Wireless and other portfolio companies of Catalyst and served as a Board member of Otto Capital, a Singapore

based VC fund. Mr. Cukierman acts as a Chairman of the Board of the Friends of Sar-El, an Israeli Defence Forces volunteer organization and is a Board Member of Alliance Israelite Universelle enIsrael. He is an officer (Reserve) of the Crisis & Hostage Negotiation Team and part of the IDF Spokesman Unit. Guy Ravid, CEO

Guy Ravid is the CEO of Cukierman and Co. Investment Banking activities. Prior to joining Cukierman, Mr. Ravid was a partner at MBI, which raised in excess of 50M USD for a variety of public entities including ATTU, EFCX and ORGT, as well as privately owned technology companies. Mr. Ravid sits on the board of CUBUS Lux. In his capacity in Cukierman he floated the first Croatian company on AIM and sold the assets of theHungarian Telecom company Eweb. Mr. Ravid graduated Cum Laude from the Hebrew University and has an M.B.A. from Rutgers University

Avihay Weiss, Vice President
Avihay joined Cukierman & Co. in February 2007 as an investment banker, dealing mainly with M&A’s, Private Placements and IPO’s. Prior to joining Cukierman, Mr. Weiss was an entrepreneur, founded and managed a company in the online gaming field and over saw its sale to one of the leading online casino brands. Mr. Weiss has spent several years inEurope, working as a business development manager, bringing a variety of multi-disciplinary talents and industry skills in management, investments and business development. Mr. Weiss holds an MBA in Finance from the International Disciplinary Center in Herzelia and a B.A in Logistics and Economics from Bar Ilan University. Prior to that, Mr. Weiss spent 6 years in the Israeli Defense Forces, reaching the rank of Captain.

Rene
Mr. Rene Montsma joined Cukierman Investment House in October 2007 and heads the Alternative Investments practice. Previously, Mr. Montsma headed Due Diligence Services and was involved in a variety of Corporate Finance transactions. Before joining us, Mr. Montsma was involved in raising funds for mid-size companies and started a chemical production company in the south of Israel which was subsequently sold. Mr. Montsma served in various executive positions in public companies of the Israeli Hi-tech industry: Radvision, Inc (RVSN), Optibase (OBAS) and Commtouch Inc (CTCH). Prior to joining Commtouch, he spent five years at British Telecom in the development of joint ventures and five years at Bakkenist Management Consultants (now Deloitte) as Management Consultant in the Netherlands. Peleg Hadar, Managing Partner, Telecom & IT
Mr. Hadar is a well experienced corporate executive with over 12 years of senior business duties in the Telecom and Hi-Tech industry. Mr. Hadar has conducted numerous strategic alliances and transactions with most of the global industry players like Microsoft, Hewlett Packard, Alcatel, Siemens, Cisco and Erickson. Prior to joining Cukierman, Mr. Hadar was the Co-Founder and Managing Partner of SL&B – Strategic Leverages & Buy-Outs, an investment banking firm specialized in the telecom industry which merged with Cukierman. Daniele
Daniele Moscati joined CIH in Cukierman Business Development (CBD). Before joining CIH, Mr. Moscati was managing partner at NG Group, a business development and technology scouting company based in Israel and active in the Italian and Spanish markets. Mr. Moscati managed several IT/Telecommunication and security projects and represented several Israeli high-tech companies in Southern Europe. Nadine Doubior joined Cukierman Investment House in January 2006 as Marketing manager of the Corporate Finance Department. Prior to joining Cukierman & Co., Mrs. Doubior worked for several companies in France and in Israel in the role of marketing and communication management. In France, she was responsible for the communication department of UAP (No.1 Insurance Company at that time), the communication network and the events organization. Mr. Cukierman formerly headed the capital markets activities of Caisse Nationale de Credit Agricole then became in 1987 Chairman and CEO of CPR, the largest publicly traded French bank specialized on the financial markets. Mr. Cukierman has or had the following other responsibilities: President of French Association of Investment Banks, Member of the MEDEF Finance Committee (French Association of Employers), President of the Franco Israeli Chamber of Commerce. Mr. Cukierman holds a MA from Ecole Polytechnique, an MBA from the Harvard Business School and a PhD in economics from la Sorbonne.

Mr. Salimpour is founder and CEO of Cukierman & Co. Real Estate Ltd. Since its foundation in 2003 the company has successfully closed real estate transactions totaling over € 1B, including: investments in France together with Rosebud Medical (acquisitions- Office buildings resold for € 134M after 1 year), sales in Hungary, Poland, and Czech Republic for Elbit Medical Imaging (over € 700M - Commercial Centers), sales in Hungary for Ofer Brothers Properties (€ 70M - Hotels and Office buildings), sales in Israel for Concepteam (prestigious residential projects in the center of Tel Aviv), investments in France for Alrov (€ 5.6M - Office building), acquisitions, renovation and sale of Residential and Office properties in the French Riviera. Mr. Salimpour is currently establishing Real Estate funds and Fund of funds for India, Asia, Center & South America. Serge Goldner , Managing Partner

Serge Goldner joined Cukierman & Co in 2005 as a partner within the corporate finance division. He brings 12 years of business development and 2 ventures management experience in the services and telecom businesses.
In 2006 he founded Cukierman Life Sciences, the Life Sciences corporate finance arm of the group. Serge gained extensive cross-boarder expertise in corporate finance with a focus on Life Sciences.
He holds a BA in Political Science and International Relations from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. He served in the Israeli Defense Forces as a Company Commander of the Artillery unit and was an instructor in the Commander course. He is married, father of 3 and lives in Israel.

Dr. Laurent Choppe, Managing Partner

Dr. Laurent Choppe brings an extensive international life science experience in managing multi-functional teams and setting up new businesses in pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, nutraceuticals, animal health and direct-to-consumer markets.
After a veterinary practice and a new venture management experience, he joined Schering-Plough in 1994 by leading the marketing of major drugs in dermatology, allergy, respiratory and animal health in France, became General Manager and established the first subsidiary in Israel and moved up to Vice President, Virology, Oncology and Cardiology in Canada. From 2004 to 2008, he served as the General Manager of the international headquarters of BELLUS Health (NASDAQ & TSE), a global pharmaceutical and nutraceutical company addressing unmet needs in Alzheimer’s disease, AA amyloidosis, diabetes, memory and cognition.
Dr. Choppe is a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine of the University Paris XII, laureate of the École Nationale Vétérinaire d'Alfort and earned a MBA from INSEAD in Fontainebleau (France). He is married, father of 3 and lives in Lausanne, Switzerland.

Dr. Alexandra Vallon-Eberhard brings a dual international experience in life science R&D and business development.
From 2003 to 2009, she has carried out her PhD in the field of HIV research at bioMérieux (France) and her post-doctorate at the Department of Immunology of the Weizmann Institute of Science (Israel).
Since 2007, she joined Quilt Solutions, a Swiss company customizing business development in life sciences, as the Israeli Associate Partner. Recently, she serves as VP business development of Recogene, an Israeli biotech start-up within RAD BioMed Incubator, developing innovative systems in gene therapy.

Didier Toubia, Senior Advisor

Didier Toubia, co-founder of CLS, brings an extensive experience in corporate finance, international business development and capital-efficient management with a focus in medical devices. Since 2005, he works at Arbel Medical, a start-up developing a cryotherapy system for minimal invasive Women Health treatments. As co-Founder and CEO, he developed the Company through product R&D, FDA clearance and fund raisings (Israeli and US VC’s).
From 2000 to 2005, Didier was co-Founder and VP Business Development of Surgivision, an Israeli medical device company developing an electro-optical system for operating rooms. Prior to Surgivision, he founded and managed Maya Software Technology (COO), achieving first product sales. Since 2002, he is the Founder and Chairman of Biomed Israel, the France-Israel professional network in the fields of Biotechnology and Medical Devices.

Dr. Ofir Levi, Senior
Cukierman & Co. Life Sciences
Dr. Ofir Levi brings an extensive international life science knowledge and experience in both academic research and the bio-medical industry. After finishing his PhD studies, in which he managed and collaborated with numerous international academic teams, he founded his own company-EZQuant, which develops and markets Electronic Lab Notebook software for the bio-medical sector. As founder and CEO, Dr. Levi has established a worldwide network of distributors and clients, both in the academic sector and in the biotechnology industry. In addition to managing EZQuant Dr. Levi is also working as a scientific and business development consultant to an international CRO company operating in the field of neuroscience. Dr. Levi holds accumulative experience in fund raising from both governmental resources and private sector funds. Dr. Levi has a PhD in Neurobiochemistry from Tel-Aviv University, focusing on neurosciences and Alzheimer disease in particular. He is an active member of both American and Israeli neuroscience societies. He is married, father of 1 and lives in Tel-Aviv, Israel.

Chairman and Managing Partner of Catalyst Fund. Mr. Shamir is also Chairman of IAI, Israeli Aerospace Industries. From 2005-2007, Mr. Shamir was Chairman of Shamir Optical Industry Ltd (NASDAQ: SHMR), From 2004-2005, Mr. Shamir served as Chairman of El Al, Israeli Airlines and lead the privatization process of the firm. From 1997- 2004, Mr. Shamir served as CEO of VCON Telecommunications Ltd. and from 2004 to date, serves as the chairman of the firm. From 1995 to 1997, Mr. Shamir served as executive vice president of the Challenge Fund-Etgar L.P. From 1994 to 1995, he served as Chief Executive Officer of Elite Food Industries, Ltd. From 1988 to 1993, Mr. Shamir served as Executive Vice President and General Manager of Scitex Corporation, Ltd. Mr. Shamir served in the Israeli Air Force as a pilot and commander from 1963 to 1988. Mr. Harel brings 18 years of management experience in various industries including hi-tech to the Catalyst management team. In 1990, he established Mashik- Research & Systems for Business Development Ltd., a consulting firm consisting of 40 management consultants and industrial engineers. From 1993 until 1997, Mr. Harel served as President and CEO of Leedan Holdings, a holding company with major stakes in approximately 25 companies. From 1996 until 2001, he worked in Leedans NY office in order to develop these investments. Alon Michal, Partner
As a CFO, Alon Michal is responsible for all the financial matters of the Cukierman Group. Mr. Michal is also a Partner in Catalyst Fund in which he is responsible for the screening and evaluation of all the companies considered for investment and he handles the fund's research and due diligence aspects of the investments. From 2000 – 2007, Mr. Michal was employed by Pharmos Corporation (NASDAQ: PARS), a bio-pharmaceutical company where he held an array of key positions, including CFO, Vice President of Finance and Operations and eventually, General Manager and Vice President Finance. Mr. Michal is also a Board member of Pharmos Limited and from 1997-1998 he served as Chairman of Shaal Limited. From 1997 - 1999, served as Finance Manager of IDC Israel that plans and executes multi-disciplinary projects for the Hi-Tech, Pharmaceutical and Food industries. Prior to joining IDC, Mr. Michal practiced at Ernst & Young in the hi-tech group of the firm and was engaged in its IT consulting company. Efrat Raz, Business Development Manager
Mrs. Raz joined Catalyst Fund II in 2005 as Business Development Manager. Prior to joining Catalyst, she served for 8 years at VCON Telecommunications Ltd., a publicly traded company, developer and manufacturer of networked video, audio and collaboration solutions. At VCON, she held numerous positions: as Investor Relations Manager, Intellectual property and was in charge of Marketing strategy for the Israeli region. In addition, Mrs. Raz was involved in the company’s IPO and PIPE and oversaw the Due Diligence process. Prior to VCON, she served in the Israeli Defense Force in the Demobilization Department as a human resources agent, placing retired military officials in top industry roles. Mrs. Benattar is responsible for the marketing activities of the fund and project manager of the Go4Europe Business Conference. Before joining Catalyst Fund, Mrs. Benattar worked in the Franco-Israeli Chamber of Commerce in Paris, as a developer of new process for the administration and institutional communication of the organization. She was also involved in the development of French-Israeli work relations and business cooperation.
